Applies to:
CPR training is required for some industries by OSHA regulations and/or state licensing requirements, including but not limited to:
- Logging operations
- Telecommunications
- Electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution
- Scuba diving operations
- Child care facilities
- Adult care facilities
- Construction sites
Other personnel may have to be trained in first aid based upon job hazards, duties, or location (e.g "remote" locations), including but not limited to:
- Confined space attendants
- Designated confined space rescue personnel
- Center for Power Electronics Systems
- Electricians
- Miners
- Life guards
- Police officers
Cost
- There will be a $45.00 charge per person for all First Aid/CPR/AED students.
- A payment link will be displayed upon registration for the class.
- Departments may also make payment directly to UOPD via ISR.

Requirements
Personnel must complete the online classroom component through ASHI, then demonstrate the required skills during a session with an EHS instructor in order to be certified. Certification is offered through ASHI. Training certificates are issued for two years to anyone successfully completing the course.
