Place the telephone on the opposite side from your dominant hand.

Answering with your non-dominate hand allows you to take notes while talking. Also, it keeps the phone cord from getting twisted when switching the receiver back to the non-dominant hand.

Document holder

There are a variety of document holders available. One that positions your documents between the keyboard and mouse is called an inline keyboard tray. It reduces side to side head movement compared to a traditional document holder positioned to the side.
