Beginning August 1, 2020, we moved to a blended learning format. Students will complete the classroom portion online, then come to EHS and complete the skills verification at a scheduled time. The cost of Adult CPR, AED and First classes are $45.00, payable through VT Continuing and Professional Education.

Use the EHS Training Schedule to “Request a CPR Class.” You will be directed automatically to the CPE website to provide payment information.

Do not send departmental ISRs directly to VT EHS for First Aid/CPR/AED-Adult training.

When VT CPE informs EHS of payment, EHS will enroll you in the online class. Participants receive an e-mail link to the classroom portion.

Once the classroom portion is completed, you will receive an email and be able to book an appointment for a skills verification.

On your training profile, you will see an “Appointments” tab. The appointments tab shows upcoming skills sessions and allows you to select one convenient for you. Skills verifications take less than 1.5 hours.

Upon completion, you’ll receive your certification by email.
