When can I stop performing CPR on a victim?

There are a couple of conditions in which it is acceptable to stop CPR:

1.  The victim shows signs of circulation or breathing.

2.  An AED is brought to the scene and is ready to use.

3.  Someone of equal or higher training has arrived and takes over.

4.  You are too exhausted to continue.

5.  The scene becomes unsafe.
