Chemical Safety
Chemical Safety at Virginia Tech involves two primary program areas - Laboratories and Non-Laboratory groups. The programs developed for both are based on General Chemical Storage and Management guidelines universal for both the Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) and the Hazard Communication Program. Both programs provide information and requirements to manage and reduce personnel exposure to hazardous chemical products in university work settings.
