Is training mandatory?  If so, when?  Yes.  All involved when radioisotopes are used in diagnostic procedures must attend this training, 'Nuclear Medicine Training for Ancillary Personnel' prior to working with patients. It is unique for the VTH location. This training is NOT for Principal Users.

When is refresher training required?  The class should be retaken after 10 years of upon request by the Supervisor or Radiation Safety Officer.
