Is training mandatory? If so, when? Yes. Persons with potential exposures to lead, asbestos, silica dust, chemicals (outside of laboratories), pesticides, welding, excessive noise, lasers, infectious agents, hazardous waste, etc. or who handle animals must participate in this program.
