On behalf of The Environmental, Health and Safety Services office of Virginia Tech, I am privileged to invite you to join us in historic and scenic Virginia for the 2004 College and University Hazardous Waste Conference (CUHWC).

The annual CUHWC meeting provides a forum for professionals in the hazardous waste and environmental fields at colleges and universities to meet, share ideas, learn about new regulatory developments, and interact with industry representatives. Due to our location, we are expecting a large attendance thereby increasing opportunities for networking with peers.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Managing Today for a Greener Tomorrow”highlights our obligation to manage waste in a manner that ensures environmental responsibility and consideration for the future. We are hoping to encourage thought provoking dialogue on new and challenging issues as we all move to more sustainable and environmentally conscientious campuses.
